Even a harmless cold could help against Covid: “This opens up possibilities for vaccines”

Those who have higher T cells or immune cells in their body due to a previous cold are better protected against Covid-19. This is according to a study published Monday by Imperial College London. “This opens up the possibilities for second-generation vaccines,” says virologist Johan Neyts (KU Leuven).
