More details have been leaked about the perpetrators responsible for the distribution of nude images of Stan Van Samang, Sean Dhondt and Peter Van de Veire. The images were obtained by a 22-year-old student from Ghent posing as ‘Eveline’. Then they were distributed by a 27-year-old man from the Kempen. Both men have known the facts.
The case about nude images of the BVs Stan Van Samang, Sean Dhondt in Peter Van de Veire erupted about a month ago. Half Flanders was then sent the photos and videos via WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Both Sean Dhondt and Peter Van de Veire responded with a statement shortly afterwards. In it, they said the images had been distributed without their permission. On September 10, Stan Van Samang filed a complaint against the perpetrators.
The three victims turned out to be contacted via Instagram by an ‘Eveline’. He himself sent spicy messages and asked the BVs via the anonymous Who send photos and videos. Both profiles had meanwhile been removed, so it didn’t seem obvious that the person behind ‘Eveline’ would ever be found.
Now it appears that the computer crime unit of the federal police has managed to track down the perpetrators. Yesterday – October 7 – the Brussels public prosecutor’s office announced that two suspects have been identified and that both have confessed.
22-year-old student from Ghent

He pretended to be ‘Eveline’ online and managed to get the BVs to send him photos and videos. The young man says he has never blackmailed the BVs. The student has been doing catfishing in a similar way for about four years. His victims are both known and unknown Flemish people. In addition to the three known names, at least three other BVs would have sent images.
27-year-old Kempenaar
However, this man is not the man responsible for the mass distribution of the images of Sean Dhondt, Peter Van de Veire and Stan Van Samang. He did send the photos and videos to an acquaintance of 27 years old from the Kempen. She then shared it with other men on Grindr, a gay dating application.
It is also through this Kempenaar that the police eventually managed to unmask the perpetrators. He would have left an IP address somewhere so that the computer crime unit was able to find out his identity. The man then talked to his co-perpetrator on the gallows. Both men risk five years in prison and a fine of 80,000 euros.
