It’s almost weekend (time flies when you’re having fun), and of course we herald that with a brand new post-Xbox Series X launch and post-DSA election night edition of EvdWL. For everyone who did not receive it, we announced the nominations for the Dutch Stream Awards 2020 last night. And it was quite a night. If you want to watch it again, that is of course possible! Then you can here. But beyond the DSA, there are plenty of other things to discuss. How did the launch of the Xbox Series X go? How did the launch of the Xbox Series X go?
The Xbox Series X was released around the world on November 10th. And let’s face it, whether you’re an Xbox fan or a Sony pony, it’s always special to enter a new console generation. But we also all know that releasing a new console isn’t exactly the easiest thing to do. Did the Series X have a bit of a smooth launch? Does the console work for everyone? Have all pre-orders been handled properly? And suppose the Xbox had problems at launch, how do we estimate that for the PS5 that will be released next week?
