After the forced break due to the corona, Eurowings will start up to six times a week from Leipzig / Halle Airport to Düsseldorf from August 2nd. The route is operated every day except Saturdays. Aircraft of the type Airbus A319 and A320 are used. Eurowings already connects Leipzig / Halle with Palma de Mallorca and Varna.

The Lufthansa subsidiary will also be taking off from Dresden to Stuttgart up to five times a week from August 3rd. Eurowings is already heading for Düsseldorf and Palma de Mallorca from Dresden – Cologne / Bonn has been announced for September. The flights take place daily from Monday to Friday. A319 or A320 are also used. Domestic German flights have also been available with Lufthansa to Frankfurt and Munich since mid-June.

Saxony will enable voluntary and free tests for air travelers for the corona virus at the two airports, Leipzig / Halle and Dresden, at short notice. The Ministry of Social Affairs is preparing to do this.
