Austria sings in the second semi-final on May 14th for the finals
Vienna (OTS) – A total of 41 countries will take part in the “Eurovision Song Contest” in Rotterdam in May 2020. While six countries – Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy and Spain as well as the host country Netherlands – are already firmly qualified, the 35 other nations sing in the two semi-final shows on 12th (17 countries) and on 14th May (18 countries) Entry into the finals on May 16 (live from 9:00 p.m. on ORF 1). As part of the “Allocation Draw”, a draw was held in Rotterdam on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, to determine which country will start in which half and which semi-finals – the exact starting order will be determined by Dutch television in mid-March according to editorial criteria. Austria was drawn into the first half of the second semifinal on May 14th.
