Alpine new radio retrofit module ILX-F411 is equipped with an 11-inch display on which users can use Android Auto in addition to Carplay, for example to display routes. Audio media playback and the display of incoming messages are also possible if an iPhone or a compatible Android device is connected by cable.

The screen panel with WVGA resolution is equipped with a capacitive touch surface. In addition to the interface to smartphone operating systems, Bluetooth is available for hands-free functions.
Users can also import external sources via USB or the AUX input or the HDMI input and display images from the front and rear camera.
The iLX-F411 only requires a simple DIN slot, since the display is connected to the actual module via a bracket. The construction can be adjusted in many ways so that it has space in the car. The Alpine iLX-F411 is expected to be available in the U.S. for around $ 1,200 in June 2020, with European prices and availability pending.
