HELIA CONSEIL develops offers that meet the needs of the Regional Development Bank’s major clients in terms of bank debt arrangement – syndication, project financing (DSP / PPP, ENR type), private bond issues.
As part of its development, HELIA CONSEIL is looking for 2 BUSINESS ENGINEERS with a strong RE and Infrastructures dimension
The Business Engineer provides financial expertise to clients and prospects in the RDB of shareholder savings banks in the structuring of their debt: arrangement-syndication of bank debt, project financing (PPP-DSP, ENR), private bond issues. In this regard, it builds tailor-made financing solutions and organizes the head of this financing. He also supervises the operational monitoring of the operations undertaken (role of Credit Agent: monitoring of contractual commitments, covenants, dissemination or reception of financial information, etc.) provided by the Financial Engineering Officers. Finally, it ensures the sourcing of operations and the opening of relations by the contribution of its expertise and thus participates in the development of the notoriety of HÉLIA CONSEIL and its Caisses d’Epargne shareholders through the network of influence of his territory.

Relationship with clients and search for opportunities
The Business Engineer keeps himself informed of the economic and financial situation, of the industrial, commercial or shareholder strategy of his clients and of the various financing operations, operations on capital or possible financial engineering in anticipation of their needs. It maintains regular contact with its business introducers (commercial network of shareholder savings banks, audit and law firms, investment funds) and its counterparts among colleagues in the market to initiate new transactions. debt advice or acquiring new clients. He works in close collaboration with the Account Managers, the Risk Department and the Financial Department of the shareholder savings banks.
Financing arrangement
The Business Engineer, together with the Financial Engineering Officer, ensures the legal arrangement of the operation and the construction of the financial model, taking into account the inherent risks. He negotiates with the client, and in conjunction with the lawyer of HELIA CONSEIL, he supervises the drafting of the documentation necessary for the negotiation and then the implementation of the financing (memorandum, term sheet, due diligence, legal documentation, etc.) . Finally, it coordinates or ensures the constitution of the banking pool.
Funding and monitoring
In conjunction with the Legal Counsel and the Financial Engineering Officer, the Business Engineer coordinates the preparation of closings, ensures the successful completion of the implementation of operations in coordination with the banking production of the shareholder savings bank and banks in the pool. It supervises the monitoring of sub-contracting financing of the Agent mission entrusted to the Caisse d’épargne, lead shareholder (collection and dissemination of financial information, payment of deadlines and commissions, covenants, ratios, etc.)
Profile and skills required
Coming from a higher education bac + 4/5 (engineering school, business school or university), preferably financial specialization, you justify a significant successful experience, ideally in infra and / or renewable structured financing or in corporate and institutional banking and have solid knowledge in finance and management.
Driven by a team spirit, you have good analytical skills and a sense of negotiation. You are recognized for your responsiveness, your adaptability and your thoroughness.
Additional information about the position
Two permanent positions are to be filled as soon as possible
One of the stations is located in BORDEAUX, the other in the Rennes metropolitan area at CESSON-SEVIGNE or the Nantes metropolitan area in ORVAULT.
