Enough wants to get beneficiaries of Social Integration Income to do community work

Chega’s sole deputy, André Ventura, delivered this Friday a draft resolution in parliament so that the beneficiaries of the Social Insertion Income (RSI) are obliged to provide community work.

According to the text, to which the Lusa agency had access, Chega intends that the Government “promotes the inclusion of mandatory work in favor of the community in the RSI attribution programs” and “promotes the creation of a Social Work Office (GTS) , to assess the conditions of each of the beneficiaries of the RSI to provide work in favor of the community throughout the entire period of benefit of this social subsidy “.

Another idea of the right-wing populist party’s initiative is “the immediate creation of a new supervisory office for the attribution of the RSI, ensuring that its beneficiaries are citizens who effectively need public support, rather than dependent citizens who are conformed to the dependence on public resources “.

At this time, the maximum RSI value corresponds to the sum of the following values, for each member of the household: 190.99 euros (for the holder), 133.69 euros (for each major individual) and 95.50 (for each minor individual) ).
