As the police reported, a 16-year-old youth from Fürstenfeldbruck had hugged a 14-year-old woman from Munich against her will from behind and otherwise groped. After a scramble, the police stepped in. The 16-year-old grocer received a complaint of sexual harassment. He was then released.

When the police officers tried to de-escalate the situation, many people present showed solidarity towards the officers at around 8.15 p.m. Around 50 bottles were thrown and 19 officers were slightly injured. As already mentioned, six male adolescents between 15 and 20 years of age, all resident in Munich, received reports of various offenses. Again and again loud calls for “freedom” echoed across the meadow, and a real hail of bottles fell on the police officers. A total of 19 officers were injured, but all are still fit for duty. As a police spokesman said on request, a total of six people were arrested. They are being investigated for bodily harm, resistance to law enforcement officers, as well as attacking them and breaching the peace.
