England National Team achieve victory when entertaining Australia in a friendly match. The Three Lions team narrowly won 1-0 via the only goal Ollie Watkins.
Friendly matches bring together England vs Australia, Saturday (14/10/2023) early morning WIB. The match took place at Wembley Stadium, London.
Both teams played openly from the start of the match. Australia got their first chance in the 12th minute through Keanu Baccus’ long-range shot which was pushed over by Sam Johnstone.
England almost opened the scoring in the 29th minute. Ollie Watkins’ low shot hit the Australian goal post.
Both teams failed to score a goal until entering the break. The first half ended goalless.
GOL! England broke the deadlock in the second half, to be precise in the 57th minute. Ollie Watkins got his name on the scoreboard.
Watkins scored a tap-in goal from Jack Grealish’s pass in the penalty box. England lead 1-0.

Australia tried to catch up in the remaining time. However, no goals were scored and the score was 1-0 for England as the final result of the match.
