School start with mask and tests

Bremen/Hanover – School starts again today. However, our students do not have to prepare for many new things.
As far as the Corona rules are concerned, the education authority relies on well-known measures.
Means: There will continue to be tests and masks. However, with restrictions.
All students have to take a quick test twice a week. If the result is positive, a PCR test follows. If it is also positive, the infected person must be quarantined. His cohort (class/study group) is allowed to continue to school but has to test himself daily for a week.
Classes 1 to 4 do not have to wear masks at all, at secondary schools it is only compulsory outside the classrooms.
The rules are stricter in Lower Saxony: here the test is compulsory every day of the first week of school. The mask requirement applies to everyone from class 3 – also in class.
