Emre Belözoğlu, coach of Medipol Başakşehir, one of the Spor Toto Super League teams, announced the transfer in a live broadcast program he attended. Belözoğlu said that they signed a contract with Ahmed Touba.
Transferred from Club Brugge to Waalwijk in 2020, the Algerian defender played 29 games with the Dutch team in the past season.
