30 years of innovative medical technology – a fitting occasion for inomed Medizintechnik GmbH to celebrate together with employees and companions on Friday, July 8th. to celebrate on Table Mountain in Emmendingen. The company was founded on November 11th, 1991 in Teningen by the current managing director Rudi Mattmüller and former works manager Dieter Mussler.
Anniversary celebration with surprise program and fireworks:
In the evening, the 30th company anniversary was celebrated on Table Mountain next to the company premises in a large marquee with all employees who work at the headquarters and in the branches of the inomed group, as well as long-standing business partners. The celebration was organized by the concert and event agency “KAROevents”. The magic duo “JUNGE JUNGE!” led through the program, supplementing their moderation with amazing tricks and providing many moments of surprise for the guests. The event was musically accompanied by the Freiburg band “Randy Club”. A particular highlight of the evening was the spectacular fireworks display, which was well received and brought the official part of the event to a successful conclusion. Then the partying and dancing continued until late into the night.
Guests of honor praise good cooperation and commitment:
The guests of honor at the event included internationally renowned members of the professional societies, such as the neurologist Dr. David MacDonald, ex-president of the ISIN, today scientific director at Arkana Forum GmbH and Prof. Dr. Andrea Szelényi, neurologist and head of clinical and intraoperative neurophysiology at LMU Munich. They emphasized the importance of companies like inomed as a reliable constant not only in the supply of medical-technical equipment, but also in the range of services. dr Jörg Herdmann, chief physician for spinal surgery at St. Vinzenz Hospital in Düsseldorf and a partner from the very beginning, thanked inomed for the many years of good cooperation.
In his speech, Emmendingen’s mayor, Stefan Schlatterer, emphasized the importance of the company for Emmendingen as a business location and referred to the development of inomed Medizintechnik GmbH from a two-man operation to a global high-tech company over the past 30 years. He also underlined the company’s commitment to various projects and Rudi Mattmüller’s four years as chairman of the Emmendingen fabric association, which show the company’s ties to the city of Emmendingen.
Looking back on 30 successful years:
In his speech, company founder Rudi Mattmüller recalled the beginnings of inomed in 1991. Driven by the idea of developing innovative solutions to protect nerves during operations, he teamed up with Dieter Mussler and in the years that followed products such as the high-frequency Disposable cannula or the multimodal monitoring system “NeuroWacs” in cooperation with Dr. Jörg Herdmann from Düsseldorf, which marked the beginning of inomed’s largest and most important business area to date, intraoperative neuromonitoring. In the course of the evening, Dieter Mussler, who died on 06.30. left the company, ceremoniously said goodbye. He will continue to be available to inomed for support and advice in the future.
World Café and summer conference invite you to exchange ideas:
The anniversary celebration was the culmination of an eventful week. In order to offer the employees the opportunity to deepen the company’s mission statement and to get to know each other better, on 07.07. an all-day World Café in the Schaltwerk in Freiburg im Breisgau. Under the motto “ONE inomed”, employees from various departments and branches came together in a relaxed atmosphere, exchanged views on topics relevant to them and worked together to develop new approaches for the mission statement. Towards the end of the anniversary week, the international sales and clinical service teams also met for a mutual exchange as part of the summer conference.
