Emmanuel Olisadebe was the star of the national team Polish in 2000-2004, when he scored 11 goals in 25 matches – eight of them in the 2002 World Cup qualifiers, thanks to which Poland was promoted to the first World Cup after 16 years, and the Nigerian “Emsi” in 2001 was classified at 29 position in the poll for the best football player in the world. Olisadebe is known for games incl. He played in Polonia Warszawa, Panathinaikos and Portsmouth, but his last club was the Greek Weria – he ended his career in 2012 at the age of 34.

As it turns out Olisadebe has fulfilled its plans and is active in the construction sector. – I am a fan of “construction” and I already work in it. I built five flats and now I’m making profits from them. The sixth one is already under construction, although the pandemic has slowed down this investment. I generally take my life slowly now. I am not under any pressure, I am in no hurry – he says in an interview with “Sports Facts”.

– Honestly, I am not a very ambitious person, this is my character, so I could not live in Europe, where the pressure of everyday life is very high. I lived in Europe so I can compare it. In my opinion, in Nigeria life is much easier. OK, not everything works here, but we’re used to it. And I’m used to it too. However, we even have a saying in Nigeria that if you have children in Europe, you have actually lost them already because they will not want to go back home.
