Top brand Nike has recorded a commercial with Belgian Cat Emma Meesseman as the absolute star. It is the first time that a female European basketball player has been allowed to star in a worldwide Nike commercial.

The video’s message is clear: “You don’t have to act like a certain person, or you don’t have to come from a certain place to chase your dreams.”
The film proves once again that Emma Meesseman is conquering the world. She has been under contract with Nike since 2020, but it is the first time that the 28-year-old Ypres is so prominently featured. She follows in the footsteps of all-around star Nafi Thiam with the worldwide commercial.
