ABU DHABI, October 16 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Export Office “ADX” of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development participated in the CEO Forum of Exporting Factories, which was held in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of senior government officials and representatives of companies and industrial institutions in the public and private sector.
The forum, organized by the Abu Dhabi Economic Development Department, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Export Office, the Emirates Development Bank and the Union Export Credit Company, aims to discuss effective mechanisms and means to support the domestic factories that are looking for to expand their businesses and increase the volume of their exports to reach global markets.
During the forum, they discussed safe and reliable ways to support the protection of Emirati companies and reduce potential risks by protecting their trade rights in target export markets.
On this occasion, His Excellency Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Abu Dhabi Export Office, said: “The forum is in line with the indications and vision of the government of UAE aimed at supporting Emirati exports, which are an important engine for the development of the national economy, and an essential pillar of income diversification and achieving global development in the country.
His Excellency added: “The forum is an important platform to communicate with stakeholders and discuss how to develop and develop the industrial sector and benefit from the competitive financing services provided by the Abu Dhabi Exports Office and the innovative solutions provided by partners for promoting and growing domestic industries, as well as finding appropriate solutions to the challenges faced by exporters in terms of obtaining financial resources to finance their products and enable Emirati companies to expand their business in global markets.
For his part, Khalil Fadel Al Mansouri, acting Director General of the Abu Dhabi Export Office, examined during the forum the important role played by ADEX in contributing to the development of UAE exports and the development of the industrial sector, providing credit facilities to external buyers in the form of soft loans and guarantees to enable them to purchase Emirati goods and services, in order to increase domestic export rates and open up new markets for them.
Al-Mansoori stressed that ADEX focuses on expanding its financing activities to increase the contribution of UAE exports to overseas markets, which will help improve UAE’s sustainable economic diversification. We are also working to establish strategic partnerships with various national and international institutions that support vital sectors, such as the pharmaceutical, food, defense, water and renewable energy industries, as well as opening new markets for exporting their products and develop their business environment “.
The Forum of CEOs of Exporting Factories has provided for the organization of numerous seminars, in which a number of authorities interested in the development of national exports who are working to provide their services to develop the industrial sector and provide financing solutions for it , in which the importance of promoting products and granting credit facilities to Emirati companies operating in various industrial sectors. .
