Apple will temporarily close its New York stores, including those on Fifth Avenue, SoHo and Grand Central, due to the increase in cases of contamination. Bloomberg explains that a closure is decided when around 10% of the employees of a shop have tested positive for Covid-19.
In addition to these stores, there are 8 others in the United States, and one in Canada (Sainte-Catherine, in Montreal, but it is still possible to make an appointment). With the very significant surge in contamination due to the highly virulent Omicron variant, it is unfortunately likely that other stores in turn will close or suspend most of their out-of-date activities. In New York, it is still possible to pick up an order.
In France, no closure is planned, but the Today at Apple workshops have been temporarily stopped.
