The renowned actress Ashley Park revealed on her social networks that she suffered a serious health problem at the end of 2023.
Park used her Instagram account to narrate the painful experience she went through in recent weeks and from which she is still recovering.
It all started with tonsillitis and ended in severe septic shock that put his life in danger.
“As I sit here, processing and recovering from the first weeks of 2024, the only word that comes to mind is grateful. While I was on vacation in December, what started as tonsillitis turned into critical septic shock, infecting and affecting several of my organs. “I am grateful that my health has improved despite what we had been initially told,” she wrote.

To give context to the situation, she explained that the disease made her go through three different hospitals and she was even hospitalized for a week in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), all while being far from her family, on the other side of the world.
“Infinite thanks to my personal team of heroes at home who were on call with the insurance, to Paul, to my parents and to the doctors at all hours,” he concluded.
Park is one of the most beloved characters in the hit series Emily in Paris, where she plays Mindy, the protagonist’s best friend.
The actress assures that she is much better now and is finishing her recovery, just in time for the recordings of the fourth season of the famous series.
