Emilie’s silversmith’s work, plumassière in Brittany

It is a delicate, fine and light raw material which, in Émilie’s hands, is transformed into a work of art. A treasure of nature, which, once woven, becomes textile. When it is delicately cut and tinted with black, it forms a tortoiseshell finery.

In her studio, Émilie works with a color chart of feathers of all shapes and colors. Raw materials from farmed birds only. Goose, rooster and pheasant feathers, but also pigeon feathers. She has been cutting, trimming and shaping feathers for twelve years for major luxury brands and also for major haute couture houses. She puts her know-how at the service of designers and their collections. A work of goldsmith that requires patience.
