Aston Villa qualified for the last four of the Conference League by eliminating LOSC on penalties (3 tab to 4) in the quarter-final second leg. Emiliano Martinez, nightmare of the French, saved two penalties.
LOSC started the match perfectly by opening the score thanks to Yusuf Yazici. The Turkish attacking midfielder took over a cross from Gudmunsson and cheated Martinez with a clear strike (1-0, 15′).

In the semi-finals, Aston Villa will face Olympiacos, who won on penalties against Fenerbahçe of Michy Batshuayi.
