On the third and fourth of August, the city of Ostend expects 100,000 visitors for the Rammstein concert on the event meadow near Ostend airport. The police drew up a mobility plan for this and expects traffic nuisance in certain places. After the announcement of the plans, the police were inundated with questions from traders, residents and concertgoers.
The Ostend police are now urging people with questions not to call the police telephone number 059/70.11.11 or 101. “It is important that those lines remain free for urgent assistance. Those lines are now over questioned by people with questions about Rammstein’s concert,” says Timmy Van Assche of the police. “If you have any questions, you should contact the city or the organizer Greenhouse.”
