Ludwigshafen (dpa / lrs) – Several people had to leave a building in Ludwigshafen on Tuesday due to the escaping gas. The gas had caused a deflagration in the residential and commercial building, said the fire department. A larger window was pushed out of its frame. There were no injuries.
The gas was said to have escaped from a liquefied gas bottle in a kitchen. The bottle was brought outside, electricity and gas were parked in the house. The fire brigade ventilated the building mechanically and ended its operation after almost two hours.
