Elon Musk sets the price of Dogecoin (DOGE), nodes follow his advice closely » Crypto Insiders

About two weeks ago, billionaire and Tesla CEO Elon Musk posted another message on Twitter about the meme coin. dogecoin (DOGE). He responded in the tweet to another message from the ‘Doge Whisperer’ about the nodes of the dogecoin network and that these nodes should upgrade to the latest version as soon as possible.

According to Elon, implementing this update on the nodes was very important.

205 computers are currently running the newest update. More nodes need to upgrade to 1.14.4 & more NEW nodes are needed

Nodes are upgrading massively

We are now two weeks further and it seems that the ‘node operators’ listened to Elon Musk’s advice. By August 29, only 205 nodes had made the switch to the latest update. At the moment there are already more than 763. So it seems that Elon Musk’s encouragement has had a major effect.

The update is said to be important as it brings some improvements to the network. This would make the network a lot safer and lay the foundation for lowering transaction costs in the future.

Musk en dogecoin

Elon Musk and dogecoin have been inextricably linked for quite some time. elon’s tweets have a huge reach and generate a lot of publicity for the meme coin.

It is almost a weekly tradition for the Tesla CEO to speak out about dogecoin. He recently stated on Twitter that he was convinced that dogecoin superior was on both bitcoin (BTC) and ethereum (ETH). Often a Twitter message from Musk was also followed by a huge price increase of dogecoin. This influence of Musk on the project seemed to descend slightly this summer.

However, this recent development proves once again that Elon has quite a hand in the dogecoin community. Not only is he actively involved in the development of the project, he has the power to steer the community in his direction.
