Frenchman Bernard Arnault is the richest European with 173.9 billion dollars (148.3 billion euros) and is third on Bloomberg’s list. Arnault is the CEO of luxury group LVMH, which owns fashion brands such as Louis Vuitton and beverage companies such as cognac brand Hennessy and champagne brand Moët & Chandon. Arnault’s wealth grew the most in 2021, with about 59.5 billion dollars (50.8 billion euros).
