Elon Musk and his partner Grimes had to change their son’s first name to comply with the law in force in California. The parents initially decided to call their newborn X Æ A-12, but the child will eventually be named X Æ A-Xii, as the Canadian singer revealed on Monday, May 25, Instagram.
US state regulations prohibit the use of numbers in first names, says USA Today. She answered a surfer who asked her what was the new name chosen.
“It’s prettier,” says the singer
The one whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher therefore explained on the social network to have replaced the prohibited characters with their equivalent in Roman numerals. “To be honest, it’s prettier”, she commented. The rest of the first name could however be kept since“A dash is allowed”said the mother of the child.

The interpreteroblivion adds that “A-12” is the name of the SR-17’s precursor fighter, which is “Our favorite plane” and that the letter A also symbolizes Archangel, his favorite song.
