Ella Leyers open about love in ‘Sergio over the border’: “Maybe looking too much for someone who is everything”

At the beginning of 2019 it was announced that Ella broke up with DJ Faisal ChatarShe hasn’t been in a relationship (openly) since then. She tells Sergio that this may be due to the fact that she sets her bar high. “Maybe I’m too busy looking for someone who is everything. That’s so hard, because my friends tell me, ‘What you want is alien’. It will never be quite what you want.”

Sergio indicates that her high expectations are probably due to the ideal image she saw and see in her parents. The actress agrees. “I want to be able to look at someone the same way I still see my mom looking at my dad, and vice versa.” The actress is not too worried about it, not even about her desire to have children. “You can stress or freak out about it, but that doesn’t help. There is a kind of resignation: it will come.”
