It has also performed at the Toronto Film Festival, Fantastic Fest, Beyond Fest and Busan. Everything looks fascinating. A chimerical future on After Blue, a planet in another galaxy, a virgin planet where only women can survive among harmless flora and fauna. The story follows a punitive expedition to the planet. “Seductive, ethereal, bizarre… A kaleidoscopic fantasy twisted through the lens of a 1970s sci-fi western, After the blue is a synthetic siren for monsters of the future and the past,” says one review. In the distant future, on a wild and untamed planet of women called After Blue, a lonely teenage girl named Roxy unknowingly frees a mystical, dangerous and sensual killer from her prison. Roxy and her mother Zora (Elina Löwensohn) are held responsible, banished from their community and forced to find the killer named Kate Bush. Haunted by the spirits of her murdered friends, Roxy embarks on a long journey through the supernatural territories of this filthy paradise.
