Bayer Leverkusen beat Celtic of Scotland 2-0 in the UEFA Europa League group stage. Here there was a double debut for the Ecuadorian Piero Hincapié: as a starter and scoring his first goal with this German club.
The tricolor defender is one of the figures of the Teutonic team that easily surpasses the Scots as a visitor. The second goal was from Florian Wirtz.
Hincapié took advantage, in minute 25, of a defensive error to finish low before the passivity of the local defense.
With this result, Leverkusen asserts itself in first place in group G, with six points in two games, over Spanish Betis (four units), Ferencvaros (1) and Celtic (0).
