The former goalscorer of the SGE will be the official brand ambassador for Eintracht Frankfurt in addition to his work as U17 co-trainer.
Alex Meier is a club icon and embodies Eintracht Frankfurt like no other. For this reason, Meier’s appointment to this position was of course an obvious one.
Board spokesman Axel Hellmann (50) announced on the club’s website: “Alex is not only a great athlete and good youth coach, but also an excellent ambassador for Eintracht Frankfurt. We are very pleased that he will take on this representative role in the future.”

And Alex Meier was also happy with his new job: “When the Board of Management asked me if I could imagine this role, I didn’t have to think twice, especially since I am passionate about supporting Eintracht in every area. It makes me proud that so many people associate me with Eintracht Frankfurt as a face and person. “
The exact scope of duties of the “football god” has not yet been announced. However, this should be defined in the near future.

Alex Meier played for SGE from 2004 to 2018 and scored 137 goals in 379 competitive games during this time. The striker prepared another 55 goals.
