Egyptian factory uses ceramic powder to make tahini resulting in a shocking incident.

A new shocking incident sparked panic among the Egyptians, after the security services seized a tahini-producing factory in a center in Al-Saf in Giza, whose owner uses ceramic powder in the manufacturing process.

In addition, the security forces arrested the manager in charge of an unlicensed factory producing tahini from ceramic powder, peanut shells and sesame.

By inspecting the factory, 5 tons of ceramic powder without data, 5 tons of peanut husks and cracks, 2,500 tons of sesame and 1 ton of flour, and 200 liters of edible oil were found inside.

The competent authorities seized all raw materials and seizures, and a report was issued at the Al-Saf police station, the factory was closed, and all legal measures were taken.
