Egg Supplier Den Stolte Hane Sues Nortura for Egg Shortage Ahead of Easter

The egg supplier Den Stolte Hane is asking the Oslo district court to order Nortura to immediately supply enough eggs, reports E24.

– We fear that there will be far too few eggs for Easter and that we risk empty shop shelves at all grocery chains if action is not taken immediately, says Harald Kristiansen, director of communications at Coop, to the newspaper.

Den Stolte Hane delivers eggs to Coop, and has requested that the case be dealt with in court as a temporary injunction. That is, an emergency decision that applies until a final court decision.

The supplier believes the matter is urgent since Easter is approaching. As early as Friday, the case will be heard in the Oslo District Court.

Nortura will not comment on the lawsuit, but confirms that it is about how the regulation is interpreted.

– The matter is about how the regulation should be understood. We have carried out a new legal assessment of our understanding and firmly believe that we have followed the regulation in line with the intentions of the legislator, writes communications manager Matilda Aronsson at Nortura in an email to Aftenposten.

It is Nortura that distributes the eggs to all players in the market, including to its own factory.

“When two people meet, we like each other on different levels – looks, voice, smell, behavior. But sympathy doesn’t mean anything yet. Nowhere does it say that the person you like will definitely be your husband.
Many women don’t understand this – not all men they like or who are their favorites should be in a relationship.
It can be a flirtation, a love affair, but the relationship begins when you meet your person. And in order for you to get there, you must first survive this period of falling in love, passion, dates, flowers and sweets – romance. But it doesn’t immediately lead to a relationship,” Drāke reveals his philosophy, which is also revealed in the book.

“Before we start talking about relationships and building them, we need to get to know the opposite sex. Yes, changing partners is necessary to understand what a real relationship is.
I believe that a woman should have at least 50 men before she meets her true one to get to know and understand different types of men. Don’t get me wrong, you don’t have to be intimate with everyone. It’s an exchange of energies that you definitely don’t have to try to put in a relationship frame,” Drāke reveals one of the wisdoms of personal experience to the ladies.
