MOSCOW, August 21. / TASS /. Mikhail Efremov’s lawyer Elman Pashayev challenged the judge of the Presnensky Court of Moscow, considering the actor’s case, Elena Abramova, accusing her of being interested in the outcome of the case. This was reported by a TASS correspondent from the courtroom.

“I am challenging you in connection with signs that the court in your person is interested in the outcome of the case. The court refused to appoint new autotechnical and forensic medical examinations that will help establish the truth in the case. Our petitions are constantly rejected. Why do we go to court? Efremov will be executed immediately, “the lawyer emphasized.
Pashayev also drew the court’s attention that the judge is too rushed the process of considering the case. “I ask you to give time for preparation, I have other cases as well. The court does not take this into account,” the lawyer said.
The state prosecution, in turn, opposed the challenge of the presiding judge. The representatives of the victims did not find any grounds for this either. After that, Judge Abramova retired to the deliberation room to resolve the issue of her challenge.
