The legendary Czech lyricist Eduard Krečmar died after a long and serious illness at the age of 81. His private life was very colorful and his ex-wife evidently did not forgive him for some wrongs even years after the divorce.
A number of well-known personalities arrived at the funeral of Eduard Krečmar. For example, Dagmar Patrasová and her husband Felix Slováček arrived at the last farewell, who played the song Cowboy’s Dream and brought not only his wife to tears.
The funeral ceremony was organized by the musician’s third wife, Ildika Viktorivna Krečmarová, almost thirty years younger.
The native Ukrainian has lived with the hitmaker for the past 12 years, and the beginning of their relationship was very dramatic, as Krečmar was married at the time they met.
They wanted a baby
Eduard Krečmar managed to marry three times during his life. He had two children from his first marriage, a son Eduard and a daughter Maria. His second wife was Mrs. Zdena. However, he left it shortly before he turned seventies, when he fell in love with a cleaner 29 years younger, the Ukrainian Ildiga.
At the time, Krečmarová never dreamed that the woman she had given her a job could drive her husband away. It was a huge humiliation and betrayal for Zdena, and she had a mental breakdown.
Krečmar finally married his lover in 2011 at the Old Town Hall in Prague, and his close friend, music composer Zdeněk Barták gave them away. The composer was still longing for a baby, but he did not have another child. “Unfortunately, they didn’t succeed, but Ed accepted Ildiga as his own son, who, by the way, is very clever and studies acting at the state conservatory. He was very happy with him,” Barták once revealed Flash. However, Zdena Krečmarová evidently never came despite the disgrace from the musician, as she did not even arrive at his funeral…
