Rear-end collision last night with a car and over one per mille in the blood

Yesterday evening in Rosenheim’s Hubertusstraße: A 39-year-old from Edling was driving his car behind a 20-year-old from Rosenheim and his car. Since the traffic came to a standstill, the Rosenheim resident initiated a braking maneuver. The Edlinger recognized this too late, according to the police on Sunday – he drove his car into the vehicle in front.

Luckily, no one got hurt.

The rear-end collision resulted in total damage of around 6,000 euros to both cars.

As part of the accident recording, the 39-year-old from Edling noticed the smell of alcohol – a test showed more than 1.10 per mille, the officials report. A blood test was ordered – Edlinger’s driver’s license was secured.

A preliminary investigation into endangering road traffic has been initiated against the person responsible for the accident.
