The Sarrebourg Moselle Sud Handball will evolve next season in the professional world. The club, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, will take on a new dimension in Proligue, the second French division.

Uncertainty remains on the date of resumption of training and competitions. That did not stop the leaders and the technicians from working on the contours of the coming season: “The objective is to perpetuate the club at this level. For this, we have targeted recruits who will bring physical density and their mental qualities to land the maintenance, namely an increase in desire, the resilience necessary to bounce back after a failure and the ability to leave their ego in the locker room for s ‘fully subscribe to the club’s project’, sums up Christophe Bondant, the coach, who is necessarily at the heart of recruitment.
Six new players are expected, including one or two from a higher level “to share their experience”, to form a group of 17 competitive players. Some have already signed but the club wants to be discreet and will present the new links when the time comes. We already know that Gaëtan Canton has chosen to get closer to his family on the Frontignan side and that Anthony Humbert will join Thionville next season.
