The Moselle prefecture has published a yellow level meteorological notice, following a Météo France alert: strong winds, heavy rain and thunderstorms, even a risk of hail, are announced, from 6 p.m. Wednesday June 3.
Wind gusts can reach 60 to 80 km / h. Precipitation can give 15 to 20 mm of water in an hour caused by cells
isolated, initially in the south of the department and in the second part of the night towards Thionville and the Haut Country.
This stormy situation should last all day Thursday, June 4 also.
The prefecture calls residents to be vigilant.
