All describe a car making one or two slight swerves, before coming to a stop, a hundred meters further on. These details, made to the police of the highway platoon responsible for the investigation, shortly after the accident on Friday evening on the A31, corroborate the first findings of the firefighters and emergency workers who arrived on the scene.
It was a little past 8 p.m. when the tragedy occurred. A 55-year-old A31 user from Jœuf died while driving his vehicle. Presumably after having been the victim of a health problem, because when the emergency services arrived and when the vehicle had not struck any element or carried out any dangerous swerving likely to cause an accident, the man was already deceased.
