Some described him as a genius, others as an eccentric villain. 75-year-old John McAfee was a pioneer in computer security, a political activist and also on the run from US authorities.
On Wednesday, the news agency AP reported that the Catalan authorities inform that McAfee has committed suicide by hanging in a prison cell in Barcelona.
