Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – WhatsApp is not just a text-only messaging platform. But more than that, users can send chats with voice messages or voice notes.
The way to make voice notes is very easy. Just press the microphone button on WhatsApp and talk about what you want.
After that the message is sent by pressing the send button in the chat column. However, this way the message cannot be checked or reviewed before being sent.
There is a way to be able to check the message that has a voice note before sending it. Here’s an easy way, quoted from the WhatsApp FAQ page, Thursday (13/1/2022):
1. Open WhatsApp
2. Open the individual or group chat to which you want to send a voice note
3. Click and hold the microphone icon, then swipe up to lock the recording
4. Start speaking the message you want to record
5. When finished, stop the recording by tapping the stop button
6. Click the play button to listen to the recording again. Plus you can tap on any part of the recording to play it from that time
7. Users can also immediately delete the recording if it is deemed inappropriate. You do this by clicking the trash icon
8. If you feel it is appropriate, you can send it by clicking the send button.
