Easter events guide in Riga and regions

In Liepāja, on Sunday, March 31, everyone is invited to go to Zirgu salu to observe, learn about and enjoy the awakening of nature in spring at the “Nature Explorers” holiday event.

From 12:00 to 15:00, the “Liepāja Folk Art and Culture Center” has prepared a special holiday program for big and small celebrants, which will start with the performance “Ola te, ola tur, tiz zaķas nav kur” by Liepāja’s traveling puppet theater “Maska”. At the event, you will also be able to get to know folk traditions, folklore, dances, make Easter decorations from natural materials, paint eggs in the big pot, play games and participate in fun attractions, take photos with various Easter characters, enjoy farm animals, and ride in a horse-drawn carriage.

At 11 a.m., the event “Easter trip with Bing” will take place in Saldu, Oskar Kalpak square.

At the Kuldīga cultural center from 12 to 2 p.m. you can swing, paint and roll eggs, there will be fun games, games and treats. Various Easter activities will be held in Skrunda at the cultural house at 2 p.m. An Easter event will be held at the Alsung Culture House at 11 am.

In the Ventspils region, Easter events will take place at 11 a.m. at the Zlēki and Ances culture house, at 12 p.m. at the “Tautas garden” meeting house of Užava parish, at 1 p.m. at the Ugāle folk house “Gaisma”, at 3 p.m. at the Puze culture house, at 5 p.m. in the house.

In the Southern Kurzeme region, at 12 o’clock in the Gramzda Folk House, you will be able to watch the performance of the Gramzda Amateur Theater “Easter Bunny and the Lost Basket of Eggs”. After the performance, an expedition through Gramzda prepared by Zakis.

At 12:00, “Easter fun in Gavieze” will be held at the Gavieze Culture House. Egg painting, rolling, sports activities, creative activities. Undyed eggs must be brought with you.
