According to him, although almost all regions in East Java are in the red zone, but apparently there are areas that are ready to run a new life from the tourism sector.

The area is none other than Banyuwangi.
“I see that the Banyuwangi field is the area most ready to prepare preconditions for new normalcy,” Jokowi said, while reviewing the pre-condition preparations for the adaptation of new habits at Villa So Long and So Long Beach in Banyuwangi Regency, East Java, Thursday (6/25/6 / 2020).
During the visit, the President appeared to be wearing a mask and face shield and washed his hands first before entering the area of Villa So Long to listen to Banyuwangi Regent Abdullah Azwar Anas’s explanation of the preconditions for the local tourism sector.

The Head of State also fully supports what the Banyuwangi Regency government is doing in moving its tourism sector, especially in terms of preconditions towards adaptation of new habits.

“We fully support what the Regent and Governor do in preparing the preconditions for a new normal order so that later when the right timing is reopened, the public, especially the tourism sector, are really ready,” he said.
Previously, it was known Jokowi said if Indonesia would enter the new life order or known as the new normal.
The community must begin to coexist with Covid-19 before the vaccine is found.
“Side by side we just don’t give up, but adjust (with the danger of Covid-19). We fight Covid-19 by going forward and requiring strict health protocols,” Jokowi said as quoted by Kompas.com, Monday (5/25/2020 ).
