Controversial family Štikovy became famous mainly thanks to the bizarre reality show Štiky (2018), which documented their everyday life. Arguments, shouting and cursing were a common part of communication, and there were also foul words. The members of the well-to-do family accused each other of everything – a memorable moment, for example, was when the vigorous Monika reproached her then-husband Michal for the traces of faeces on his briefs (she called the streaks on them “adidasky”).
Viewers had a unique chance to watch not only the eccentric behavior of the family, but also the unusually furnished household of the Štiks. Monika, who now lives in Germany with her second husband, young hockey player Petr Binias (26), has a very special taste. Some might call it a love of luxury, but for others it might be beyond kitsch.
