Dutch webcam blackmailer before the Canadian judge in the Amanda Todd case | Inland

Canada to prosecute Aydin C. for stalking 15-year-old Amanda Todd. He persuaded the Canadian teen to show her breasts on webcam and do sex shows. When she refused, he blackmailed her into forwarding her nude photo to friends, which he eventually did.

Sextortion

The teenager was then bullied so badly that she took her own life. Shortly before her death, she posted a heartbreaking video on YouTube, in which she talked about the hell she was going through. She did this with cards with written messages on them. A month later she committed suicide.

Her video went around the world and the Canadian teen became a symbol for victims of sextortion.

Aydin C. was arrested in 2014 at a bungalow park in Oisterwijk. In December 2020, the Tilburger flew from the Netherlands to Canada, where he is now in custody. Not only is he suspected of abusing Amanda, he has also killed dozens of victims.

Aydin C. was sentenced in 2017 to 10 years and 243 days in prison for abusing and blackmailing 34 underage girls from different countries. The judges ruled that the man took pleasure in humiliating the girls and spoke of a risk of repetition.

Amanda Todd’s mother has worked all these years to spread her late daughter’s message “to make the world a better place.” She wants to warn everyone about what can happen if you become a victim of cyberbullying and point out the importance of safety online and supporting other affected families in this lawsuit. „I have lost my daughter, she is no longer here. But she would like others to know how to better protect themselves so they don’t have to go through what she went through.”

The lawsuit against Aydin C. in Canada will last three weeks. The webcam blackmailer may serve his possible sentence in the Amanda Todd case in the Netherlands.
