Dutch tax money was transferred to Palestinian terrorists who killed a 17-year-old girl – The Daily Standard

Dutch subsidies have disappeared into the pockets of two Palestinian terrorists who killed an Israeli girl aged 17 last year. Minister Kaag (D66) had to admit that in answers to parliamentary questions from PVV, ChristenUnie and SGP.

While D66 minister Sigrid Kaag is enthusiastic about the party’s party leadership, her candidacy may suddenly be called into question by a new scandal. The Netherlands gives money to various Palestinian organizations, in the hope that peace and a viable Palestinian state will emerge someday. One of those clubs is UAWC, and two of its employees – who were partly paid their salary by the Netherlands – committed a deadly attack on an Israeli girl aged 17, who died in the summer.

Minister Kaag only took action after urgent parliamentary questions were asked by the PVV, the SGP and the ChristenUnie. Only now are the disbursements of grants to UAWC until further notice suspended:

“The pair were not involved in Dutch-funded projects of the Palestinian organization UAWC. But further investigation shows that the duo received salaries that were partly paid with Dutch money. After parliamentary questions from PVV, CU and SGP, Kaag says that she ‘regrets’ that this has not become clear before.

The D66 minister has temporarily turned off the money tap on UAWC. There is now an external investigation into possible ties with the terrorist organization. ”

Nevertheless, the D66 lady is doing her best to appease things, claiming that – despite the investigation still to be conducted – there is no evidence that UAWC has any ties to the PFLP – the club on whose behalf the subsidized employees murdered the teenage girl.

The CIDI, which brings Israeli affairs in the Netherlands into the limelight, thinks that Kaag’s bowing comes late: “The officials of Foreign Affairs have been reminded of this for so long,” says employee Elkan van der Raaf.
