Dutch journalist Mike Verwey believes that Ajax have no right to sign Krasnodar midfielder Eduard Spertsyan.
– I really wonder if you as a Dutch club should do business with Krasnodar. It seems very strange to me,” Verwey said.
According to him, the clubs of the English Premier League said they do not do business with Russia. Italian teams are in the same position.
“I really think that Ajax should also have that point of view, no matter how good this Spertsyan is,” Verwey quotes FCUpdate with a link to the De Telegraaf podcast, writes “Championship”.
As previously reported by Kuban News, Ajax made a new offer to Krasnodar for Spertsyan, which involves a larger payment than the first one. Previously, the club offered a smaller amount for the 23-year-old pupil of the “bulls” and was refused.
The media reported that the Amsterdam club offered 8.5 million euros for Spertsyan plus 2 million bonuses.
Earlier, the coach of the “citizens” Vladimir Ivic said that he would not stop Eduard Spertsyan on his way to the best European clubs. Spertsyan has a contract with Krasnodar until June 2026.
