Due to delays in the works, the Gulbene stadium will only come into operation next year – Athletics – Sportacentrs.com

This year the municipality of Gulbene has started the reconstruction of the athletic track and the football field of the stadium. Jānis Barinskis, adviser to the president of the municipality on development, projects and construction matters, informs that the work on the stadium continues, however, with a slight delay, which is related to material deliveries and cash flow for the construction company. The works are expected to be completed already this year, but will be completed next spring, as it is not possible to carry out rubber laying and asphalting works during the winter period.

Upon completion, a 300m long four-lane rubber track and a 100m long six-lane track, an artificial surface soccer field, a long jump pit, a shot put area, a outdoor basketball courts, two renovated beach volleyball courts and a car park at the sports center will be delivered to those who want to play sports, two outdoor changing rooms will be installed, various outdoor gym equipment, 42-seat mobile grandstands and fixed single-row benches in proximity to the sports fields.

Following the procurement procedure, the construction works are carried out by SIA “Buildimpeks” for 972,131 euros without VAT, the construction supervision is provided by SIA “Sistēmeksperts” for 15,200 euros without VAT, the development of the technical project and the supervision of the author is provided by SIA “Marten projekti” for 9,300 euros excluding VAT.

According to information from “Firmas.lv”, the turnover of “Buildimpeks” in 2021 was 6.38 million euros, the profit 23,399 euros. SIA “ZFF” owns 90% of the capital shares of the company, of which 57.14% belongs to Gatis Zonberg and 42.86% to Ksenia Mlikova. The remaining 10% of the capital belongs to Eddie Ekman.

The turnover of SIA “Sistēmeksperts” in 2021 amounted to 120,819 euros, profit – 10,015 euros. 80% of the company’s capital shares belong to Normund Šteinberg and 10% each to Māris and Jānis Šteinberg.

The turnover of SIA “Marten projekti” in 2021 amounted to 153,741 euros, profit – 17,138 euros. The company is owned by Valdi Caunem (66.50% of the capital) and Jānis Lukš (33.50% of the capital).
