Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry: – – Drops the Queen’s Christmas celebration

This year’s Christmas celebration is fast approaching, and there are probably more who are looking forward to gathering the extended family for ribs and Christmas sausage.

Large parts of Europe have a tradition of gathering the family into large companies, including the royal houses. Especially that British Royal Family with Queen Elizabeth (95) in the lead is fond of the annual Christmas party.

This year, however, it will be a different Christmas for the 95-year-old, who will celebrate Christmas without her husband Prince Philip by his side. He passed away on April 9, at the age of 99.

Now it may also seem that the queen has to make do without additional family members. Duchess Meghan (40) and Prince Harry (37) will not have any plans about taking the trip across the pond.

– Should think they would be with her

Sources tell Page Six that the duke couple have already received the invitation to the queen’s annual family celebration at Sandringham, but that they will probably not travel.

– There is a lot required of logistics and planning of the family Christmas, so of course the employees know that Meghan and Harry will not come. If they did, they would let the family know well in advance, the source said, adding:

– But this is Her Majesty’s first Christmas without her husband, so one would think that they wanted to be with her.

Rumor has it that the duke couple do not want to make more headlines than they already do, and a trip to Britain would probably not go smoothly.

– I think everyone understands that there will be chaos when both return to the UK, but they should just tear off the patch and get it done, the source adds.

The Duchess and Prince Harry are also not expected to attend the Queen’s annual Christmas lunch with the entire family, which is normally held at Buckingham Palace. This year it will probably be held at Windsor Castle.

In the new film “Spencer”, which is about the late Princess Diana, it appears that the royal family tends to weigh all the guests. This is also confirmed by King expert Ingrid Seward, according to Marie Claire.

Guests arriving at Sandringham must therefore be weighed both when they arrive and before they return home. And no matter how strange it sounds, it should all stem from a caring tradition.

When King Edward reigned in the 19th century, he introduced the tradition of ensuring that his guests had had enough food during the celebration.
