azThe royals live a busy life. Preferably with a program of various kinds from morning to evening. A good night’s sleep is therefore absolutely necessary to be able to be obvious and ready for new assignments the next day again!
One who pretends to be rested and in exuberant shape always, is Duchess Kate (39) – and according to Hello Magazine among other things, it is about her sleep routines.
First, she goes to bed at the same time every night, more specifically at 10.30pm. By maintaining a regular routine and circadian rhythm, it is also easier to achieve so-called good sleep hygiene.

Kate must also have found out that it is an advantage for her to have dinner well before bedtime. Then the body has time to digest the meal. According to the British website, she starts preparing dinner for the family around 18.00.
The Duchess’ most important measure for good sleep hygiene and well-being in general is probably still an active lifestyle. She and her husband Prince William (39) are both very concerned about staying in shape, and often talk about both the mental and physical benefits of being out in nature for both young and old.
In addition to the popular couple often taking their three children out on various activities, Kate is out running or walking almost daily.
Gets up early
Kate’s sister-in-law, Duchess Meghan (40), has, as we all know left the royal world, and can to a greater extent decide more about their everyday lives themselves. Sleep hygiene is still important to her, something she has talked about even before she married Prince Harry (37).
“The morning is, as we all know, the vital time that sets the standard for how the day will be,” Meghan wrote on the lifestyle blog The Tig, which she had before she met the dream prince.

In other words, she believes that the morning has gold in its mouth, and has several times talked about getting up as early as 04.15!
Nowadays, however, the morning bird struggles to maintain its good sleep routines. With a small baby in the house, it is rarely easy to control that kind. Da Meghan recently guest on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, she admitted that both she and Harry are currently struggling with lack of sleep.
– Lili is getting teeth now, she said, before she asked if the host had “something that can alleviate it”.
Yoga
Whether Meghan will have time to start the day with yoga now as a mother of two is not known, but she has according to Hello Magazine previously said that she likes to practice every morning.
In an interview with Best Health, she said that it is good for sleep:
– Yoga is my thing. There are so many benefits that come with practicing yoga – increased flexibility and strength, greater happiness, increased mental focus, a greater ability to relax, reduced anxiety and better sleep.
Meghans mor Doria Ragland (65) is a yoga teacher, and has been practicing with her daughter since she was only seven years old.
Meghan also thinks it is wise to steer clear of coffee, and prefers a vegetable juice consisting of apple, kale, spinach, lemon and ginger.

Eat alone
Hello Magazine also writes about Queen Elizabeth’s (95) tips for a good night’s sleep. The aging monarch is said to relax with a cup of tea in the evening, which is supposed to have a calming effect on the body and help her fall asleep more easily.
In addition, it is claimed that she likes to eat dinner alone. It simply gives her the opportunity to evaluate the day before she puts her head on the pillow.
