Two women walk from stand to stand at the Bamberg Christmas market. In plain clothes, they offer a newspaper to good-humored mulled wine drinkers. “Streetworker” is the name of the paper, “From the homeless for everyone” is written on the title, it should cost 1.50 euros. Most Bambergers give it up, some buy a copy. “I always feel so sorry for them,” explains a young woman.
