Real estate transactions at the Dubai Land Department amounted to more than 13 billion dirhams, within a week, as the department witnessed the recording of 2,954 sales worth 9.47 billion dirhams, including 184 sales of land worth 2.01 billion dirhams and 2,770 sales of apartments and villas worth 7.46 billion dirhams.
The most important land sales were worth 170 million dirhams in the Al Wasl area, followed by a sale worth 120.5 million dirhams in the Dubai Maritime City area, followed by a sale worth 79.72 million dirhams in the Bu Kadra area. The Hind City 4 region topped the regions in terms of the number of sales, recording 44 sales worth 91.26 million dirhams, followed by Al Habiyah 5, recording 26 sales worth 96.01 million dirhams, and a third in Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens, recording 18 sales worth 278.81 million dirhams.
As for the most important sales of apartments and villas, a sale worth 128.45 million dirhams came in the Palm Jumeirah area as the most important sale, followed by a sale worth 79 million dirhams in the World Islands area, and finally a sale worth 78.95 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area.
The Business Bay area topped the regions in terms of the number of apartment and villa sales, recording 356 sales worth 825.07 million dirhams, followed by Al Barsha South Fourth, recording 279 sales worth 280.37 million dirhams, and third in Dubai Maritime City, recording 208 sales worth 462.07 million dirhams.
Mortgages recorded a value of 2.86 billion dirhams, including 84 land mortgages worth 1.77 billion dirhams and 558 mortgages on villas and apartments worth 1.09 billion dirhams, the most important of which was in the Nad Hissa area worth 819.88 million dirhams and another in the Palm Jumeirah area worth 317.12 million dirhams. As for donations, it witnessed the registration of 101 donations worth 770.02 million dirhams, the most important of which was in the Mankhool area with a value of 382 million dirhams and another in the Al Thanyah Fourth area with a value of 104.44 million dirhams.
